Board Officer Messages

President Alejandro Hernandez

Welcome to the California Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates.

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the 85th President of an organization dedicated to excellence in law enforcement and public service. Our Chapter exists to foster a close bond and strong professional relationships among our members, enabling us to work together with shared purpose toward the continued improvement of professional police service throughout California.

Central to our mission is the promotion of cooperation among law enforcement agencies across the state. By encouraging the exchange and dissemination of ideas, experience, collaboration and information, we strengthen not only our individual agencies but the profession as a whole. We also actively support and encourage the use of FBI facilities and resources, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and professional development within California’s law enforcement community.

Equally important is our role in promoting understanding and cooperation between law enforcement and all elements of the criminal justice system. Through these partnerships, we strive to facilitate meaningful reductions in crime and disorder while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service

Finally, we recognize the vital importance of public trust. By communicating openly with the communities we serve, we work to achieve the highest degree of cooperation, transparency and respect for law and order.

Thank you for your commitment to this mission and for being a part of the California Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates. Our association exists to serve our members, and to recruit both new and existing members. Together, we continue to lead, serve, and make a lasting difference.

In 2026, we will be having an election for a 4th Vice President position during our Annual Conference in Palm Springs. Interested candidates must be a member of the Sacramento Division in order to be eligible to run.

Respectfully,

Alejandro Hernandez, Session 275
